Improve your game with an individual lesson with Steel Club's PGA Head Golf Professional, Cameron Gunn.

Cameron is Class “A” PGA Professional and is his second year at Steel Club. Cameron is a certified professional in teaching and coaching by The PGA of America and a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified professional. Cameron uses TPI’s physical screening to help understand any limitations in the body that could influence the golf swing. With experience teaching junior golfers to Division 1 players Cameron can teach players of all skill levels. He is also a certified fitter with Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway and Ping.

Half Hour Lesson-$50

Group instruction is available, and rates will be based off the number of students. Please contact Cameron to schedule your group lesson.

Dates: Session I: June 21 - 24, Session II: July 19 - 22, Session III: August 16 - 19
Details: Open to all junior golfers, ages 7-13 (grouped based on skill level)

$300 per junior golfer per session (includes lunch with the professionals and prizes).
Registration is limited to golf members and will open to other membership categories based on availability.
New for 2022 we are rolling out a Junior Golf Fall Series of clinics, on course matches and games! This program will focus on all areas of the game and take our junior golfers on course. Please see below for more information.

Location: Outdoor practice areas and golf course
Dates: Tuesdays from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, September 6th - October 4th
Details: Open to all junior golfers, ages 7-13 (grouped based on skill level)

Program Outline
  • Week 1 - Full Swing (Sept. 6th)
    • Week 1 will focus the key fundamentals of the golf swing. We will work through the bag highlighting key points and changes that will be needed with different clubs. We will discuss the differences between iron and driver swings.
  • Week 2 - Short Game (Sept. 13th)
    • Week 2 will cover the different areas of the short game including chipping, pitching and bunker play. We will work with the players on club selection and how to play different types of short game shots both from tight lies and the rough.
  • Week 3-On-Course Match (Sept. 20th)
    • Players will be broken up into teams and will play a 5-hole scramble tournament.
  • Week 4- Putting (Sept. 27th)
    • Week 4 will place an importance on the fundamentals of the putting stroke. We will also discuss green reading and lag putting to develop a well-rounded putting stroke.
  • Week 5 On - Course Match (Oct. 4th)
    • Our final week will have our golfers on the course playing in a 2 person scramble format.

$30 per junior golfer per weekly clinic or $125 for the full series (a $25 savings) if registered by Week 1. Registration is open to all members (including social and dining) with first preference to golf members.
